Reach LA Angels – Terms of Submission for Event Creators
By submitting or editing an event on the Reach LA Angels website, you agree to the following Terms of Submission. These terms ensure that our platform remains safe, accurate, community centered, and aligned with our mission to uplift Los Angeles culture, creatives, and small businesses.

1. Accuracy & Ownership of Content
• You confirm that all information you submit — including event details, images, descriptions, dates, and contact information — is accurate, up to date, and owned or legally licensed by you.
• You agree that you have the rights and permissions to use any photos, logos, graphics, or media included in your submission.

2. Permission to Publish
• By submitting an event, you grant Reach LA Angels a non exclusive, royalty free license to publish, promote, edit for clarity, and distribute your event content across our website, social media channels, newsletters, and partner platforms.
• You acknowledge that Reach LA Angels may modify formatting, grammar, or layout to maintain consistency and readability.

3. Community Standards
Reach LA Angels is a community focused, inclusive platform. Submitted events must not contain:
• Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or harmful content
• Explicit adult content or illegal activities
• Misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information
• Content that endangers public safety or violates local laws
Events that violate these standards may be removed without notice.

4. Responsibility for Event Operations
• Reach LA Angels is not responsible for event operations, ticketing, safety, or attendee experience.
• You agree that you are solely responsible for managing your event, including permits, staffing, security, compliance, and communication with attendees.
• You agree to provide accurate contact information for attendees who may need support or clarification.

5. No Guarantee of Promotion
• Submission does not guarantee placement, promotion, or featured visibility.
• Reach LA Angels reserves the right to approve, decline, or remove any event at our discretion.

6. Updates & Edits
• If your event details change, you agree to update your submission promptly.
• Reach LA Angels may edit or correct minor errors for clarity, but you remain responsible for ensuring your event information is accurate.

7. Liability Release
• You agree to hold Reach LA Angels, its owners, partners, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your event or your submitted content.
• You acknowledge that Reach LA Angels provides a promotional platform only and does not endorse or manage individual events.

8. Compliance With Laws
You agree that your event complies with:
• Local, state, and federal laws
• Venue rules and regulations
• Safety, accessibility, and licensing requirements

9. Prohibited Submissions
You may not submit:
• Events you do not have permission to represent
• Duplicate or spam listings
• Events designed to mislead or exploit the community

10. Agreement to These Terms
By clicking “Submit Event” you acknowledge that:
• You have read and understood these Terms of Submission
• You agree to comply with all requirements listed
• You understand that violation of these terms may result in removal of your event or suspension of submission privileges

11. Ticket Pricing & Fees
If your event uses Reach LA Angels’ ticketing system, you agree to the following fee structure:
• 8% Transaction Fee:
An 8% service fee is applied to each paid ticket transaction processed through the Reach LA Angels platform.
• $1 Flat Fee Per Ticket:
A $1 flat fee is applied to each ticket based on the Ticket Fee Type setting.
This includes RSVP tickets, which incur the $1 administrative fee to support platform operations.
• These fees are automatically added during checkout and deducted from your payout.
• You acknowledge that these fees support platform maintenance, payment processing, customer support, and administrative services.
