DESCRIPTION:A Stand-Up Lab for Comics Leaving Laughs on the Table\n\n\nYou’ve got stage time. You’ve got material.But you’re leaving laughs on the table. \nThis class is designed for comedians who are already performing and want to turn their material into a stronger\, more cohesive\, and more effective set. \nWe’ll focus on: \n• Going deeper with your material• Finding what’s missing in your jokes• Restructuring bits and transitions• Building flow\, rhythm\, and momentum in your set• Strengthening your performance on stage \nBeyond the material\, this class is about what comes next — how to start thinking and operating like a working comedian. \nWe’ll cover: \n• How to build and sustain real stage time• When and how to position yourself for opportunities• What it actually takes to move from hobbyist to working comic \nEach student will receive individual feedback and guidance based on where they are and what they’re trying to build. \nThis is an application-based class.Students must submit a tape or relevant experience to info@crowcomedy.com for approval prior to enrollment with the subject line: “Owen Smith Lab Submission”. Once approved\, you may purchase the class to officially enroll. \nAbout Owen Smith: \nOwen Smith is a 30+ year veteran stand-up comedian\, creator\, and showrunner (CRUTCH\, Paramount+). He has performed at top clubs nationwide including The Comedy Store and The Comedy Cellar\, and is known for helping comedians go deeper with their material and develop a stronger\, more cohesive voice. \n \n \nDo you require ADA accommodations?
